More structures in the Eaton Fire — but not all — will be required to rebuild with fire-resistant building materials

California has released new maps showing where wildfires are a potential hazard. That means some homeowners in Altadena, Calif., who are starting to rebuild after the Eaton Fire will be required to use wildfire building codes that apply for new construction.
