Burgum
In April 2023, Burgum signed a near-total ban on abortion in North Dakota, allowing the procedure up until 6 weeks only in cases of rape and incest. The law would allow for abortion throughout the pregnancy in specific medical emergencies, as well.

Christie
In 2015, when he was running for president, Christie backed a 20-week federal ban, but has in this campaign said he wouldn’t back a federal abortion ban. During the current campaign, he has not been forthcoming about what types of abortion restrictions he supports and does not support.

DeSantis
DeSantis has said he would sign a 15-week federal abortion ban. As governor of Florida, he signed a 6-week state-level abortion ban.

Haley
Haley has said she would sign a 15-week federal abortion ban (though she has repeatedly tried to soften that stance, saying that such a bill would never pass the Senate). As governor of South Carolina, she signed a 20-week state-level abortion ban.

Ramaswamy
While Ramaswamy does not support a federal ban, he has said he supports the 6-week bans that several states have passed.

Trump
Trump’s view on this is unclear. Trump backed a 20-week federal ban as president, though he has since come out against a federal ban. In the current campaign, he has criticized 6-week state bans as too restrictive. However, he has not come down on a level of restriction he supports, instead claiming he would try to create compromise on the topic as president.
