Capitalism Largely Rated More Favorably Than Socialism

Democrats are more likely than other demographic groups to have a favorable impression of socialism.

Source: NPR/PBS NewsHour/Marist Poll of 1,416 U.S. adults conducted Feb. 13-16. The margin of error for the overall sample is 3.3 percentage points. Party affiliation results reflect the 1,164 respondents who identified as registered voters, and the margin of error is 3.7 percentage points.
