U.S. aid to Ukraine so far tops $112 billion

Congress approved more than $112 billion in aid for Ukraine in four spending bills last year. More than half the aid is for military assistance. Economic aid helps keep the Ukrainian government operating, including salaries for civil servants, teachers and health care workers. Humanitarian aid includes food aid abroad and support for refugees.

Notes

Aid classified as "other" includes money for oversight of spending, as well as support for Ukraine’s nuclear power sector, costs associated with moving U.S. Embassy personnel and spending on investigation of oligarchs and war crimes.
