The Route Of Los Caminantes

The United Nations refugee agency, UNHCR, says 3.4 million Venezuelans have fled their country in recent years. The agency estimated last year that 5,000 Venezuelans were moving into Colombia each day. Many travel on foot down mountain highways with hopes of reaching the Colombian capital, Bogotá, or other destinations across Latin America. The red line on the map traces one common route out of Venezuela.
