A ‘Safe’ Republican State Senate District

In 2011, Wisconsin Republicans dramatically reconfigured state Sen. Van Wanggaard’s Racine district, slicing off the more Democratic urban parts and joining the rest of the former district with a large Republican area. The redrawn district line cuts around Wanggaard’s house.
