Per-unit prices shown in this table are rounded to the nearest cent, while percentage change is calculated based on the per-unit cost rounded to the nearest tenth of a cent. For some products, there may be a discrepancy between the two. For example: A 23-ounce jar of Prego marinara sauce cost $2.38 in 2023 and $2.48 in 2024; that means $0.103 versus $0.108 per ounce, rounded to 10 cents versus 11 cents, but still an increase of 4.9%.
