Grocery shoppers are starting to resist rising beef prices

Spending on beef appears to be slowing down after years of higher demand despite higher prices. Circana, a market research firm, tracked beef purchases at stores and online between July 14 and Aug. 10, 2025, and compared the data with the prior year’s data.
