How to register to vote in Rhode Island

Rhode Island allows same-day registration for presidential elections only. Those registering on Election Day can't vote in local, state or other federal contests.

Eligible voters who want to vote in the presidential election can register on Election Day (Nov. 5) at a location designated by local officials. More information here.
