Arizona election results

Arizona had the smallest margin in the 2020 presidential election, with a difference of just under 11,000 votes, to give Joe Biden the win over Donald Trump. All eyes are on Maricopa County, which made up about 60% of the statewide vote in 2020. There are 11 electoral votes up for grabs. After state Democrats proposed a ballot measure that would enshrine the right to abortion up until the point of viability, Republicans eager to get their base out to vote up and down the ticket put forward a ballot measure of their own — on immigration policy at the border. There’s also an open Senate seat to fill. That race is between U.S. Rep. Ruben Gallego, a Democrat whose district includes the Phoenix metro area, and Republican Kari Lake, a former TV news anchor turned “America First” diehard who lost the 2022 gubernatorial race to Democrat Katie Hobbs. There are also two key House races.
