Nevada election results

Nevada has seen a growing bloc of nonpartisan voters, not only because of a recent change in state law regarding party registration but because of a growing dissatisfaction among voters over partisan politics. Nevada is also one of 10 states this year with a ballot measure that would protect abortion rights, and Democrats’ messaging on the ballot measure and on reproductive rights more broadly could play a role in deciding the presidential race. Six electoral votes are at stake. It took days to call the 2022 Senate race because of how close it was, but in the end, the win helped Democrats take over the chamber that year. This year’s tight race is between Sen. Jacky Rosen, the Democratic incumbent, and Republican Sam Brown, an Army veteran, with abortion rights at the center.
