Georgia is a reliable Republican state in presidential elections, but Democrats are expected to contest it this year. There are two statewide races for U.S. Senate, with interim Republican Sen. Kelly Loeffler running for a full term and Republican incumbent Sen. David Perdue running for reelection. The state has 14 congressional districts. Georgia does not have partisan voter affiliation, and voters can choose to participate in either major party primary.
