Georgia election results

After the 2024 election, Georgia’s U.S. Senate contest and open governor’s seat looked to be some of the most competitive on the map. But Democratic Sen. Jon Ossoff appears to have entered Election Day at a slight advantage against Republican Rep. Mike Collins, putting more focus on the gubernatorial contest.

In that race, former Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms, the Democratic nominee, faces off against Republican businessman Rick Jackson. Jackson has poured a lot of his own money into the race while Lance Bottoms may get a boost from fellow Democrat Ossoff.
