Michigan election results

Michigan’s open U.S. Senate seat is viewed as a top pickup opportunity for Republicans. The GOP nominee, former Rep. Mike Rogers, is running for the second cycle in a row. The Democratic nominee, former public health official Abdul El-Sayed, is a progressive who won a close primary against a more establishment candidate. This race is seen as a test of the ability for progressives to win statewide in competitive states.

There are several competitive House races in Michigan. It also has an open race for governor. Gov. Gretchen Whitmer is term-limited. This race leans toward Democrats.
